The Back story
E.D.G.E. began in the digital space. Mario’s social media had become more than just a platform—it was a place where people craved something deeper. They weren’t just watching; they wanted to gather, to pray, to experience community beyond the screen.
So, we opened our home. What started as a small group quickly grew into something more. Week after week, people came—seeking prayer, connection, and a space to encounter God. For a few years, our living room became a hub of worship and transformation.
But as the gatherings grew, so did the need for more space. What started online, then in our home, has now become E.D.G.E.—a place where people can come as they are, find healing, and walk in faith together.
The founders
Mario & Hannah Sfeir
Mario and Hannah bring a unique blend of backgrounds and passions to their ministry. Originally from the United States, Hannah has called the Middle East home since 2014. As a trauma therapist and passionate disciple-maker, she is committed to helping individuals heal and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Her heart for discipleship and Bible teaching drives much of her work, including counseling and guiding people in how to read and apply Scripture.

Mario, a Lebanese social media influencer and evangelist, has spent years using digital platforms to share the gospel and teach others. As a preacher and teacher, he’s seen firsthand the power of media in reaching hearts, and he continues to build a community around the message of Christ.

Together, they have cultivated a multi-faceted ministry that includes trauma counseling, discipleship, media outreach, and weekly gatherings where Mario preaches. The opening of their community center will allow them to expand and combine these passions into one fully-equipped hub, empowering others to grow in their faith, and disciple others for the Kingdom.
